October BuJo

October has come and gone, Halloween is done… as is Bonfire Night! Which all means that the next big thing for me is my 29th birthday on December 4th… and then, it’s CHRISTMAS!!! I cannot believe how fast this year has gone by!

Anyway, I digress! Welcome to my October Bullet Journal (BuJo) layout. I’m so much happier with October’s layout than I was with September’s; but you live, and you learn… so, without further ado, let’s dive right in!

As always, I have a Cover page with my Monthly Goals, which – amazingly – I nailed, this month! Thank you, as ever, to you all for that! This month’s theme was Halloween-based; so – lots of pumpkins, ghosts, spiders, etc.!

My next page is a Weekly layout, which I love so much more than last month’s Weekly layouts. This layout seems to work out for me, so much better!

My next page is my Mood Tracker – which used ghosts – followed by my October Favourites page. I like to do this page because it helps me to keep track of what was going on during that month. Some months, I have loads that I want to tell you about, and others, not as much; so, it’s handy to have someplace to write my Favourites down, as I’m going through the month.

The next page is a drawing of Elphaba from Wicked with a quote from the song “Defying Gravity”. I have wanted to watch this show for the longest time, but just haven’t had the chance. I do have the book; so, I may bump it up on my TBR.

Another Weekly layout follows this page – with the cutest little ghost that I saw on Pinterest and then recreated. This was also the week of the Charms Extra Credit readathon, set up by G at Book Roast… you can find out more about this readathon, here.

This was then followed by some pumpkins with quotes (funny Halloween quotes) in them, and an updated version of my “30 Things Before 30 Bucket List”, which – I can confirm – I will be doing as a post, next month. I like to see this written down, so that I can tick things off and also see what I have left to do… and how I can plan all of that into my day/week/month/year!

This is followed by another Weekly layout in which I did another readathon. This time, it was a Harry Potter readathon that was set up by someone else… this was the Spookathon set up by Books and Lala. Again, you can find out more about this readathon, here.

The following page is an October TBR list (which – I can confirm – changed massively, as the month went on!) and a quote by George R. R. Martin.

Another Weekly layout… however, no readathon this week!

That’s followed by a little doodle that I saw on Pinterest and decided to recreate. I absolutely love this drawing! I love the contrast between the colours, and the black & white, too. Pretty!

My final page was another Celebration page for reaching 2k on Instagram (Yay!) with another “Books Read” tracker. I’m loving the recording of my books like this, but I have decided that for next year’s BuJo, I am going to do my “Books Read” tracker in a different layout, which I’ll be excited to share with you (when its time). 🙂

So, there you have it – October’s BuJo layout! I hope you enjoyed it! And, I’d love to check out your layouts, too; so, if you have the links to them, please do leave those, below.

This is so good! I want to start a bullet journal next year but I am the least creative person ever and think I would get stuck with ideas! Love yours though xx
